IM2.1s Insert Machine

The IM2.1s 2U 19 inch insert machine is ideal for the most demanding studios. The IM2.1s can be used as a 100% transparant passive insert machine, but also has bypassable active circuitry for input gain, mid/side, parallel processing and stepped output gain. The IM2.1s uses our well-know and proven analog circuitry with 2 stereo inputs, 2 stereo outputs and 8 stereo inserts (analog Tascam DB25 standard). By using sealed relays, all inputs, outputs and inserts are fully passive, with no coloring of electronic switching.

The extremely transparant active in and output gains have a gain range of +/- 5.5dB in 0.5dB per step. Insert 1 and 2 are fully passive and can be swapped in order. The blend circuit on insert 3 uses two seperate controls for wet and dry making it possible to blend and level match the blending to your personal taste. Insert 4 is fully passive. Insert 5/6 can be used in passive or mid/side mode with seperate mute buttons for mid and side but also the (bypassable) width can be adjusted from -6.5dB till +3.5dB. Insert 7 and 8 are both fully passive and insert 8 can swapped from pre to post.

** The default output attenuator is set to 0.5dB per step with a max gain range of +/- 5.5dB or 0.25dB per step attenuator with a max gain of +/- 2.75dB.
It's also possible to order the console with a selectable gain-range of 0.25/0.5dB per step with a small toggle switch above the gain attenuator.
